DC/DC switching regulator / converter providing 5V in output voltage.

This Traco regulator can be used as a replacement for the liner voltage regulator 7805 or the Recom R-785.0-1.0 in order to support a higher input voltage, up to 36 Volts*.
It has the same pin configuration than the 7805 or the Recom so it can just replace them easily using the same holes in the PCB.

The advantage of the Traco TSR1-2450 in comparison with the 7805 is that it has high efficiency and it doesn't dissipates heat so there is no need to use a heatsink.
