Description
Designed for a maximum load of 5 Kg, the GBS 10/50 ballistic parachute greatly enhance the security of your drone as well as its precious payload.
A ballistic parachute is launched thanks to a tiny explosion which makes the system deployment extremely fast. It can be compared to a pilot ejection system. These ballistic parachutes are frequently installed on microlight aircrafts, gliders and small monomotor aircrafts like the Cirrus SR20.
The GBS 10/50 ballistic parachute from Galaxy GRS is fully deployed in only 1 second. Thanks to that, this disposal can be used at an extremely low altitude of 5 meters AGL (16.4 ft) which makes it the perfect tool for multirotor UAVs. This high quality system has been successfully tested and approved by some civilian and military research institutes.
The electronic controller board from the GBS 10/50 can automatically shut down the motors while deploying the parachute. A security pin is included for ensuring safe transportation. For having the GBS 10/50 electronic controller allowing to take-off, this safety must be removed.
